Lasova Restaurants
We supply over 2000 meals to those in need every day, free of charge.
General Information

In 1990, the "Lasova" association established a restaurant for the needy, located near the central bus station in Tel Aviv, an area where thousands of impoverished people live. In 2003, we established two additional restaurants for the needy: one in Acre, and the other in Karmiel. In the restaurants, every needy person receives, free of charge, no questions asked, a hot, nutritious, kosher lunch. Every diner is allowed to eat without restriction.
In contrast to the gloomy image of the specialty restaurant, every diner can dine in a dignified manner, in a clean, spacious and well-lit restaurant. Most of the food served in the restaurant comes from donations from various producers, farmers and businesses. We collect the surplus food using our "City Collection" mobile trucks. During the day, the City Collection mobile trucks are driven by the association's employees, and in the evening and at night, the trucks are operated by volunteers.
Tel Aviv Restaurant
The main focus of activity for the Lasova NGO is the Lasova Tel Aviv Restaurant, located in the Lasova House on 18th Chelanov Street in the south of the city.
Every day, with the help of our volunteers, we serve several hundred hot, filling, nutritious, and kosher meals to those in need living on the margins of society. Everyone is welcomed with open arms, without questions or criteria. The payment for the meal, in the amount of one shekel, is a privilege, not an obligation.
For many of them, this is the only meal of the day - help us help them!
