General Information

The "Kadima" youth center network is a national network, operating five days a week, all year round, and providing daily care to over 1,200 male and female youth in grades 1-12.
The daily program at the "Kadima" network includes homework assistance, educational-values activities, enrichment classes, and lunch and dinner.
The secret to our success is the personal approach and building a personal plan for empowerment and advancement for each trainee, while providing a holistic response in all areas of life.

The Role of the Instructor
The training year at "Kadima" is a challenging year in which volunteers undergo processes of maturation, independence, and acquisition of educational tools. Volunteers in the service year are required to undertake significant educational work that demands resilience and steadfastness in the face of the year's challenges.
The scope for volunteers in the service year at "Kadima" is large, and we encourage and even expect private ideas and initiatives in the educational work with the trainees. Leading a group of trainees: providing educational training, assisting with homework, individual training, contact with school teachers, contact with the trainees' parents, home visits, leading peak events, and more.
Under the guidance of the youth center director and in collaboration with the entire guidance team, the service year mentor must ensure the advancement of the trainees on multiple levels: social, emotional, and academic. To succeed in this task, and to produce the most significant result for the trainees, the mentor must arrive at the service year with a sense of mission, resilience, work ethic, guidance skills, teamwork skills, creativity, and, most importantly, a love for education, for children, and youth.
Insurance
All service year volunteers are insured with volunteer insurance through the Ministry of Social Affairs. Medical treatments can be obtained through the Health insurance they are members of. where the volunteer is insured. Supplementary insurance services are the responsibility of the volunteers and their parents.
Vacations and flights
During the year, each volunteer is entitled to a year of service for 3 days off, with a prior arrangement of at least two weeks with a manager. A. The youth home and an escort. A. The commune, the 3 days of leave shall not be used in succession, and shall comply with the leave procedures set out in the commune file. Flights abroad will be possible only during vacations! It is the volunteer's responsibility to ensure the existence of appropriate insurance.
Social security & health care
According to social security procedures, volunteers of one year of service are exempt from paying social security and health contributions during the period of volunteering until enlistment in the army / national service.
Home Vacations
The service year volunteers stay for a weekend in the commune once a month and, as required, stay for additional weekends. The volunteers will be released to their homes on Thursday evenings, depending on the distance of the youth home from their homes. The volunteers will also be released on holidays: Rosh Hashanah Eve, Yom Kippur, and Seder night.
Economy and pocket money
Full economy, including housing and lunches Monthly pocket money for a total of 550 volunteers is intended to cover food expenses and personal expenses
Transportation
The service year volunteers receive a multi-line ticket at the beginning of the service year for free travel on buses and trains. Until the ticket is received, travel expenses will be covered by the pocket money

The selection process for a year of service

The year of service in Kadima is suitable for graduates and senior high school graduates seeking diverse, intensive, challenging, and meaningful social action. The service year screening process begins annually in October and concludes in March. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. When registering for the screening, please prepare a clear face image. This image will be used to identify you in the process. The image must be attached to the JPG file and sent along with the registration form to the email of the sorting hub. Please note that most of our communications with you during the sorting and receiving process will be done through email.

Summoning for an assessment day and a personal interview
During the selection period, you will receive an email with two options for an assessment day and an interview. You must respond by email only.
During the day, you will undergo activities designed to test your performance in the group and your training abilities.
You must prepare and present a 4-minute activity that you will present to the selectors and group members. During the day, a personal interview will be held for only the most suitable candidates!
If you have passed the assessment day and personal interview, you are part of the national service in the "Kadima" youth home network.
Final message
After receiving a positive answer, you must inform the selection coordinator on behalf of "Aminadav" of your desire to take part in the national service at Kadima on a final basis by the date that will be updated during the selections.

We believe that without this assistance, the departure for the service year would not have been possible.
During the service period, we "partner" with you in everything related to your daughters and sons. To recognize the service, we will hold a Parents' Day at the beginning of the service year, during which we will introduce you to the Lashuva Association and its directors and the Kadima Network team, and of course, we will answer all your questions.
